The Re-Membering Pathway
Therapeutic Animism Training Course
A return to relational knowing, an unraveling of imposed structures, a weaving back into wholeness.
To remember is more than recalling—it is the act of bringing something back into awareness, of retrieving what was once severed or forgotten. But to re-member is something deeper. It is the process of gathering the fragmented, disowned, or silenced parts of self and world and restoring them to the whole. It is a dissolution of the illusion of separateness.
The Re-Membering Pathway is an offering for those who sense that healing is not an individual endeavor, but a relational unfolding. Through this journey, we unlearn the colonial, hierarchical, and mechanized narratives imposed upon mental health and well-being, making space for animist ways of knowing—ways that honor the seen and unseen, the personal and collective, the storied and the ancestral.
This is not a training in the conventional sense, nor a course that simply imparts knowledge. It is a re-membering—of what has always been present beneath layers of conditioning, of relational intelligence that extends beyond the human, of a way of being that does not seek to dominate but to tend, listen, and reciprocate.

Re-Member
Healing is not an isolated process. It is relational, shaped by our histories, the unseen forces around us, and the systems we live within. The Therapeutic Animism Training Course challenges dominant mental health models by offering an approach rooted in animist ways of knowing—ways that recognize all beings, forces, and energies as interconnected participants in healing.

This course is for therapists, social workers, healers, and those seeking to step outside of reductionist, individualistic mental health frameworks. Rather than imposing external diagnoses, therapeutic animism acknowledges how we are shaped by relational energy, ancestry, unseen influences, and systemic realities. This training offers a blend of theory and practice, providing the tools to work with the seen and unseen in an ethical, grounded, and effective way.

This pathway is for those ready to:

-
Re-member healing as a relational process rather than an individual pursuit.
-
Re-member the body, the land, and the unseen as participants in well-being.
-
Re-member therapeutic practice beyond hierarchy, diagnosis, and pathologizing.
-
Re-member their place within a web of connections that extends beyond time, space, and societal structures.
What You’ll Learn
This training provides a unique bridge between therapeutic practice, animist awareness, and social responsibility. Participants will engage in:
-
The Foundations of Therapeutic Animism – Understanding animism as an ancient and contemporary way of relating, rather than a belief system.
-
Decolonizing Mental Health – Questioning the influence of colonial frameworks in psychology, therapy, and healing.
-
Relational Energy & Healing – Exploring the interplay of personal energy, ancestral imprints, and collective forces in mental health.
-
Dissolving Hierarchy in Healing Spaces – Moving beyond authority-driven models of care into collaborative and reciprocal ways of healing.
-
Reimagining Mental Health – A non-pathologizing approach that shifts focus from individual “disorders” to relational imbalances and systemic influences.
-
Storytelling, Myth, and Narrative Therapy – Honoring the power of stories in shaping reality, identity, and healing processes.
-
Animism and Ethical Practice – Working with spirits, forces, and unseen energies in a way that is culturally aware, ethical, and non-appropriative.
-
Rhythm, Movement & Somatic Knowing – Engaging with rhythm, sound, and embodied awareness as pathways to nervous system regulation and deeper connection.
-
Eco-Grief & Collective Healing – Understanding grief not as an individual burden, but as a collective experience requiring communal support.
This course is not about nature therapy, spirituality, or a new wellness trend—it is about unlearning imposed structures, reconnecting with relational intelligence, and cultivating an approach to healing that honors the complexities of existence.

Why Journey
with Earth in Sky?
Most mental health frameworks rely on external classification, diagnosis, and intervention. Therapeutic animism challenges this by asking: What if healing isn’t something imposed from the outside, but a relational process that emerges from how we engage with the world?
This course offers:

-
A decolonized, non-pathologizing approach that recognizes mental and emotional states as responses to relational, ancestral, and systemic influences—not as personal defects.
-
A balance of critical thought and direct experience, bridging contemporary therapeutic insights with animist ways of knowing.
-
A focus on ethical engagement with the unseen, ensuring that animist practices are not extracted, appropriated, or commodified.
-
Practical tools for therapists, healers, and seekers looking to integrate therapeutic animism into their work and life.

Yes. This training offers tools and frameworks that can be woven into mental health counseling, social work, coaching, and healing work in ethical and effective ways.

Do I need experience in animism?
No prior knowledge is required. Whether you are new to animism or looking to deepen your understanding, the course will guide you through the foundational concepts and practical applications.

Will this certify me as a therapist?
This course provides an optional certification in Therapeutic Animism, but it does not replace formal psychotherapy or social work licensing. It is meant to enhance existing practices with relational, animist-informed approaches.
